Ms. DeMotte is responsible for overseeing all public relations activities on behalf of the group, from existing hotel locations to key overseas markets. She was formerly vice president communications at The World of Residen Sea, before joining Shangri-La in 2004. She spent 10 years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, including four years as Asia-Pacific regional director of public relations. She began her career with seven years at The Orsborn Group Public Relations agency in San Francisco, California.
