At 1,038 feet (322 meters), the Victoria Peak, Hong Kong Island's tallest hill, is perhaps one of the most spectacular views you can get from any modern city. Majestic skyscrapers and high-rise residential blocks encircle the harbour with the hills of Kowloon in the distance. Whether by day or night, Victoria Peak provides a breathtaking view.
The best way to get to the top is on the Peak Tram, a historical funicular railway which carves a steep 1,223-feet-high (373 meters) swathe up the green mountainside. The tram has been in operation since 1888.
