Exploring Qingdao
Lao Shan Mountain lies just 40 km east of Qingdao. The mountain area is a famous Taoist retreat, complete with temples, waterfalls and secluded walking trails. The area’s main attraction is the Great Purity Palace, which dates back to the Song dynasty. From the Palace, trails lead to Lao Shan’s summit.
