Exploring Xian
The Goose Pagodas are two of the fine Buddhist sites that remains in the city centre. The Small Goose Pagoda, build in 707 AD, originally had 15-storey, but the top two storeys collapsed in an earthquake in 1555. Visitors can climb to the top of the pagoda through an interior staircase leading to a sweeping view of Xian. The two Goose Pagodas are separately located in the southern part of Xian city.
